Free Re-String Service

Buy New Strings for your guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele or other stringed instrument from us and we will fit them absolutely free of charge*.

It's simple, there's no catch, and it saves you the time and hassle of doing it yourself.
At the same time we will check your instrument over and advise of any likely issues with it and give the fretboard, headstock and body a quick clean.
Generally this service takes around 20-30 minutes, however at busy times it may take slightly longer so we would generally advise allowing around 45 minutes for us to complete the re-string.

Strings for electric guitars or acoustic guitars start from just £4.50, and if you are unsure of what to purchase we can advise on the most suitable type of strings for your instrument.

Terms and Conditions

Please Note that to take advantage of the restringing service you must bring your instrument into the store and have the strings fitted at the same time as purchasing them.
*Please Note that due to the complexity of their set-up we charge for re-strings of ANY guitar with a Floyd Rose, or similar, tremolo system and for any 12 string guitar.
The charges are :-
1) 12 String Guitar, Violin, Mandolin  - £ 5.00
2) Floyd Rose Guitar - £ 10.00
Please note also that here we are charging ONLY to change the strings and NOT to perform a set-up on the instrument. If you require this service then we can offer this, but it is more expensive.  We will advise on a suitable string guage for your instrument, however we cannot be held responsible for any change in set up affected by a change of string guage.  This is a simple string changing service and not a full set-up of the instrument, which we offer as a seperate chargable service, when required.
