We offer a full repair service for all sorts of musical instruments, from guitars and bass through to full amplifier diagnostics and repair. Whatever your instruments needs we can offer you a comprehensive solution to fix it and have it playing well again.

Re-Stringing Service
At the basic level we offer a free re-stringing service, for those players who either don't know how to do it or can't be bothered doing it themselves! Buy the guitar strings from us and we will fit them for you for free. Normally this takes around 30 minutes, but the store will let you know at the time, how long they expect to need your guitar.

Guitar / Bass Set-ups
We undertake a range of set-ups on a variety of different instruments. Our technicians all play guitar and so they are set-up your instrument to get the very best from it. On return your instrument will play as well as possible and feel great.

Guitar / Bass Repairs
Sometimes things go wrong and your guitar needs a replacement part or needs some electrical work undertaken to have it sounding good again. We can repair or replace the all electrical components in your guitar. If you want to add new pickups or change the wiring to get a different sound then we can help with this as well.

Amplifier Service and Repairs
All electrical items can need attention sometimes and we are used to servicing everything from the smallest combo to the largest mixing consoles. From time to time Valve Amplifiers will require a service and new valves fitted and re-biased. We undertake this work, in-house.

Emergency Gig / Touring Bands Service
We are open later than ANY music store in Edinburgh so you can always call us in the event of an emergency. We also offer an out of hours service for professional musicians and bands for emergency supplies and some repairs. We aim to get your gig back on track as fast as possible. If you are touring and think you may need our out of hours service, then call the shop when you are in town to discuss details.
